This photo was taken by Diane Arbus, she took photos of transgender people and people with disabilities like dwarfism and other things that are different or out of place. She also did a lot of self-portrait work. She took this photo in 1962 in Central park in New York. I like this picture because it’s in a place where there would be lots of people and families and there is just a child in the path holding a toy hand grenade and it is very out of place. I like some of her other pieces like “Untitled (6)” because it shows people about life with disabilities and what it’s like to live on the outside of society.
